Cambodia's judicial system is so deeply corrupt and inept it never occurred to my to try to apply a legal analysis to their decisions. The only relevant factors seem to be who the dependent/accuser are, how much money each side has, and what political players they are connected to. It never struck me that law, evidence, precedent, legal reasoning, etc played any significant role.
