I haven't had much hair for a long time, and even when I had I kept it cropped. Anyway, it's something I ceased caring about years ago because it could be worse, I could have had Polio as a kid and have a stumpy leg or be blind and deformed from an explosion or any countless number of worse things. Most Cambodian men keep their hair into much later in life than Caucasians, so it's more unusual here, and I'm aware that bald/ shaved heads are associated with the Sangha or funeral ceremonies.
So, to get to the point, there's this phrase I've heard for years but have no idea how to pronounce properly, when I've asked some locals they don't know what the hell I mean. I thought it was like "Rort ting- ow" or something, but I think I completely misheard it.
