Also, I believe one member of this forum has a wife who had an eating disorder some time back, shan't name names of course.
And it been quite some time since I heard the name Bronwyn Sloan, did she ever get her shit together anyone know or did she just totally lose it all ? I knew she went back to Oz but that's all.

Replying as her daughter, and regardless that it's five years since this post was made, I'll tell you.
She was suffering from severe PTSD and Depression when she returned to Australia. She got an apartment, she got a psychologist, but she couldn't work after that. She fought tooth and nail to get better, but in 2019, she suffered an intracerebral haemorrhage and passed away.
As for the monkey, Bob, my mum made sure she got a good home. Because she was having a baby, and monkey's are overprotective/jealous of their owners, she was aware that she couldn't keep the monkey and have me at the same time. So she gave Bob to an orphanage where the children happily took care of her, fed her and loved her as much as mum did.
"Get her shit together" is no way to describe what she went through. It wasn't a decision, it was trauma.
