I am averaging about 1500k a month, the most I did in a week was 500k in Java , twice, but after each time I had to rest for at least three days.
My ideal would be 80 - 110k one day rest the next, although I have cycled 155k in a day and have cycled four days back to back.
As for India why stop at Calcutta, why not go down the east coast to Madras ? If you ain't gonna continue to cycle any further a field, see as much as India as possible.
Enjoy and remember it ain't a race.
Well, i guess we must be superhuman then mate!
The problem we have is that i got a 6m indian visa whereas she could only get 3m. We are into the Indian visa somewhat whilst in Myanmar. Plus meeting up with fokes in Goa in January. Would like to leave India for her to come back with an Indian evisa.
Aint seing much in the way of scenery in India right now. From Assam to the west coast is around 3500 kms.
Not sure i wanna do it on busy highways, and we will likely need to stick to them to keep rolling at our superhuman pace.
I've actually lost 14kgs since leaving Paradise sur Mer. Straight up.
Spitthedog, now 41,050 kms and counting, and feeling like i need some somosas to recharge the batteries.
