JS50 - I don't get it? I'm not stalking/trolling you at all, as many of the things you say, I don't know much about. To that end, I like to fact check, and do some research and so I have tried to provide facts and statistics througout to put another perspective to your point of view (I have also been careful to source these from non biased sources as much as possible, hell, even used the stats from he US Government departments).
You haven't addressed at all my comment that the system works well in Australia, and it hasn't broken the bank there (ps - many Americans don't know where Australia is according to youtube, some think it must be in Florida.....
). In other posts on other threads, I have provided statistics, and all you have done is ignore those and say that you believe what you believe, providing no factual rebuttal.
Can you see why when you come on here to spout this stuff, that you will cop flak? Many here are more than willing to debate different points of view with factual and reasonable arguments. Look back at some of the threads from the old days that focused on issues such as Cambodian politics, the middle east etc - and you will see that many of the posters offered incredible insight, provided debates that could make a person sitting on the fence think twice as to what he has been told to believe.
Yet - for the most part, your arguments actually make a person jump to the other side immediately as all we have been given is "I like Trump coz he's going to make Merica great again" - yet provide no proof in the pudding. Attacking the argument with, oh you are just a leftie regurgitating CNBC memo, is no different to anyone just saying that you are a right wing redneck regurgitating a FOX news memo. If you can't see that, then I question your claim to be of superior intelligence.
If you will go back through you will see that I did answer. If you are happy with your system I am happy for you. As far as the health care costs in the US, a lot of it comes from protecting new medicines and treatments which other countries copy, many of them without paying royalties to the patent owners thereby making it much cheaper in their respective countries. Another reason is that many hospitals are pushing either very short in hospital recoveries or outpatient surgeries, which in Medicare patients and some insured patients raises the cost greatly to patients themselves. This is compounded by higher costs being charged to insurance companies to off set the losses from non-paying patients, of which there are way too many. Illegal immigrants and people working either entirely, or partially, off the books have, and still; are bankrupting many hospital and health care providers around the country.

Sorry JS50 - can't see where you have answered??
Also, are you saying that the USA has the upperhand compared to so called socialist countries with regards to Healthcare?? Not sure what you're describing is a healthy endorsement of the USA state of affairs??
Are we talking about the best/cheapest healthcare system for the patient, or the best hospitals, doctors, surgeons etc?
