Khmer women vs. other Asians
Yeah half-castes are generally beautiful. I tend to like the mixes with the brown skinned peoples (Indian, cambodian). A caste is an elaborate and complex social system that combines elements of occupation, endogamy, culture, social class, tribal affiliation and political power. It should not be co...

Civil war ended in 1998, so a bit less than 30 years. I've been here since then and the water supply has usually been excellent (in Phnom Penh). It's very rarely off and the pressure good, except around peak time 7-8am when it drops a bit. Phnom Penh water has won awards and it is pretty cheap and y...

I read about Allied POWs being transported via Phnom Penh(they were kept here about 2 weeks) to Saigon on the railways. They were survivors of those who worked on the Death Railway in Thailand. After boarding a ship in Saigon they were torpedoed by a US sub somewhere north of Indonesia. The Japanese...

For you, English teacher, the war is over
South Korean robots teach kids English Soon, the proverbial apple to for the teacher may be a thing of the past. In fact, the actual teacher may also be a thing of the past, at least in the traditional sense of the word. A new pilot program in South Korea has done away with the pesky human bodies t...

I think it will be interesting to see how the Minko-Taliban media whose shrill cheerleaders lead by AsiaLife and the PPPOST report on this latest development. So far their coverage of the cancellation has been minimal and at no stage has any fingers been pointed to unprofessionalism by holiness Mr....

You can come back in a couple of years and the same guys can give you good advice on divorce procedures too. Thank you KIR. I have been here over for over 12 years. I know what I am getting into. I ...
