Most of the city still out from what I've heard. BKK got it back about 3 hours ago, well at least where I am in 3 mangos on 360 and its still happy hour..win win. My apartment still out so may have to take a room here.
Shameless plug i know, but might be useful info for someone

Re: Hotels in PP
Won't last. Some cheapo will walk in and ask for some takeaway pool water. lol. I don't think thats happened yet. The only time Eden very occasionally has a little moan to his regulars (of which I'm one) is when someone comes in, lies by the pool all afternoon, buys one coke and then demands a towe...

Re: Hotels in PP
Eden, the owner, has been trying to avoid charging for the pool or setting a minimum tab. This may change but for the moment its for paying customers i.e. if you're there for a couple of hours, its appreciated if you buy a couple of drinks or a drink and something to eat, all of which very reasonabl...

Re: Hotels in PP

Amenities include a nice pool, restaurant, bar, Wi-fi. etc. Very family friendly with the owner having 2 kids himself and quite a few families coming to use the pool on the weekend. You can check out the...

Re: khmers abroad
Gutsy! Me and my boys used to smash the teeth out of a group of the Nuvieu Riche Khmers in Khmer Beer Gardens area in SR -- we knew they had weapons underneath their 470s but didnt give them no chance, those cunts need to have it the hard way sometimes. You're the man. Love to see the outcome if yo...

Re: A most unusual building
Looks identical to a building in Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) i can see from my window. However, surrounding buildings don't seem to match so your pic maybe quite old.
In fact looking at your link all the buildings are

Re: Travel Resources for Kraite and Stung Treng

The website has now been revamped and contains far more resources and information on new trails including the GPS mapped Cycle Trails. Also now available are resources f...
