Re: Bali - Short time notice - Have to fly their in the morning of 24/02/2024
Just how bad is the traffic there? I've heard it's like central Bangkok, all the time. I was last there slap in the middle of covid, and obviously it was a pleasure to get around. Hard to imagine one long traffic jam. The coastal plastic problem, however, was unimaginably awful - though I suppose t...

Don’t go any further away from the airport than Legian . The traffic is horrendous. If you’re cashed up then the Padma Legian is excellent. Plenty of places to stay around the Padma that are cheaper though . Don’t go anywhere near Canguu you will regret it . Take my advice go to a place in Legian th...

Re: Dental bridge
Can recommend Labelle Dental Clinic Street 110 almost next door to Residence 110 hotel . I've just had work done and couldn't be happier. I had bridge work done at Roomchang years ago before they moved and were operating from a villa . Roomchang at the time were great and probably still are however ...

Re: Coming in December. Some questions/need advice
Duang Chan Hotel is fantastic , I stayed there for 2 weeks a couple of months back . Try to get a room with a window because the other rooms , still good , face a wall . Can't fault the hotel including the location . They do a long stay monthly rate as well which might suit me next trip .

Lawyers always think they will win until they lose or settle . I’ve recently been up against high profile lawyers and presented my case well enough to be offered what I wanted in the first place half way through the hearing. Then represented work mates with their cases once again achieved the result...

Re: Chinese Communist Party Threat Is ‘Massive’
How many wars have China been involved in over the last 20-30 years? How many have the USA? Now tell me who is the most danger to the "international order" Life was so much better when Gaddafi , Saddam Hussein , Osama bin Laden etc were around . Remember many countries sought help from the USA, the...

Re: Ukraine
You do realise the OP uses the PC name for Kiev. That shows that he's leans more to Ukraine than to Russia and is not as neutral as you think. A number of stories here have been found out to be untrue and no comment has been made on them. Personally I I think he has tremendous stamina in keeping up...

Re: Article: China's navy has the world's largest flee
It's the same misinformation that's been thrown around for years about the "giant Chinese Naval base" at Ream. Anyone can see from satellite images that it's a tiny jetty and nothing except a few new sheds has changed there in over a decade. Is the base in some tunnel below sea level or am I missin...

This angry boy has accused his former friend youtuber Jon Abroad of being a pedo in a number of videos on YouTube .He even refers to his real name . His evidence is yet to be exposed , talks about having contacted authorities back in June . If true good if not then Jon Abroad should smack him in the...

Re: Tampa, Florida lawyer Rugh James Cline arrested in Cambodia on child sex charge
So you're saying once arrested one's guilty .... and you call me an idiot . Nobody has been wrongly arrested. They all claim to be set up by corrupt NGO or they've been framed for working at schools owned by opposition supporters or their identity has been mistaken or some other bollocks. Every god...

Re: Tampa, Florida lawyer Rugh James Cline arrested in Cambodia on child sex charge
Being complicit doesn't necessarily mean they were culpable .... one can still be complicit under duress which diminishes culpability. Well, that is down to interpretation but imo it is too convenient for a defense. Absolutely agree ...... I'm not defending Cline just noting circumstances and facts...
