Prostate Procedures Available
Hello Has anyone had a prostate procedure done in Cambodia? If yes, what type of procedure, and which hospital and doctor? Approximate cost? I assume that the type of procedure/operation is very limited (TURP, HoLEP, REZUM etc.) here. Maybe Royal Phnom Penh and/or Calmette? I will also consider Bang...

Cataracts Surgery
Hi, I'm back again with a question about having cataracts surgery in Cambodia since my cataracts are getting worse. Unfortunately, Dr. Sean Lee has moved back to Malayasia. Does anyone have any personal experience with having cataracts surgery here and any recommendations for opthamologists? I know ...

Ergonomic Mouse and Camera Tripod
Hi, I need to come to Phnom Penh next week. I have two questions please. 1) Is there any computer shop (and location please) that may have a decent selection of higher quality/ergonomic mouses (mice)? Possibly an Evoluent Vertical Mouse, Microsoft Sculpt etc. 2) I'm also looking for a quality ball-h...

Re: Medical
Then, they - the doctors, patients and signs - must be in another part of the building. Definitely not where I entered, and no one made any effort to direct me to the right place. I'll look (haha) again the next time I come to PP.

Re: Medical
FYI, I stopped by yesterday morning. This is very much a place for Khmer only. I did not see any foreign patients, any foreign doctors, any signs in English (or other languages) or any other indication that they might have services for foreigners and expats. It seemed to be a completely Khmer staff....

Re: Medical
Does someone have the address for the recently opened Cambodia-South Korea Friendship Eye Care Center?
I saw it passing by on a bus but I cannot remember the street/location.
I'd like to stop by and see what services they offer.
Thanks
Andrew

Best Eye Clinic and Doctor in Phnom Penh
Hello, I asked about this a while back and just wondering if there is any new information on the subject. I am interested in a high-quality eye exam, preferably by a foreign doctor. I have a bit of cataracts and want to "see":) if it hasn't gotten worse. The last time I was in the city I saw a new C...

Eye Doctor Sean Lee at Royal Phnom Penh Hospital
Hello, Does anyone have experience with Dr. Lee at the Eye Clinic in the Royal Phnom Penh Hospital? Especially, with regard to an accurate diagnosis, prognosis and the ability to perform safe and successful cataracts surgery. Apparently, there are different types of surgery available (Lasik, ultraso...

Safe Pay Kit and CamboPay Business Transaction Services
Hi, Has anyone used SafePayKit or CamboPay for merchant services and/or donations here in Cambodia. They are both supposed to be legitimate payment gateway service providers authorized to conduct banking transactions in Cambodia. Paypal and every other payment gateway provider that I've researched d...

PayPal Alternative for Donations
Hi, I've been working/volunteering with the Banteay Chhmar community-based tourism (CBT) group for about three years. Lately, we have been having requests from tourists to send donations to the project. I need to set up a donation page/link on our website. PayPal does not work in Cambodia. I cannot ...

Re: Banteay Chhmar
Hi, My apologies for not getting back to you with a reply. My Khmer 440 account was deactivated. My name is Andrew and I live in Banteay Chhmar. I've been supporting the CBT project. I was on my way to Bangkok as you were on your way to Banteay Chhmar and I got my account reactivated. For future ref...

Re: NGO - Sustainable Cambodia
Hi, Sorry, I was travelling a little and forgot to reply to this message. First, your friend needs to contact Richard Allen or Laura Gonzalez about volunteering at SC. I think Laura is handling the volunteer requests now. It's not normal for volunteers to just show and say they want to volunteer. I'...
