Appropriate banking regulation which straddles the fine line between protecting customers (from themselves) while at the same time enabling banks to make appropriate profits for their shareholders is a good thing. They're banks. They're in business to make money by providing a service, a service which you are perfectly free to use or not, as you see fit. What do people expect? So you're for light regulation of banks? Seem to recall that got us in a big mess a few years ago but I guess times have moved on...
