Re: Canadia New ATM fee Specifics
Yes, I looked through the other threads, and there were people both saying that they have and have not been charged and so I thought there was confusion. Obviously not. Although the threads elsewhere continually referring to 'Canadia no longer being free', you already know the specifics, i.e. it's s...

Report: free cash advance
This is an answer rather than a question. I just want to report fyi, that I got a cash advance earlier in the week from the Cambodia Asia Bank near Sovanah mall (pp) over the counter. I'd had trouble using it in atms. I was told there's no charge for less that 250. I was using a UK Halifax Clarity C...

Re: Banks & ATMs
Report: free cash advance. I just want to report that I got a cash advance last week from the Cambodia Asia Bank just around the corner from Sovanah Mall. I was told it was free for less than 250usd, so I took 200 on a UK issued Halifax Clarity credit card. The amount just showed up on my bill as 12...

Re: Report, atm mastercard
FFS, Mekong sound in a mess. The branch in monivong has two atms. The one on the left has a sign over it saying 'union pay only', though the staff told me to ignore it because the screen says mastercard. So the sign was completely wrong but they refused to remove it. The machine on the right had a $...

Report, atm mastercard
Not sure if this is the right forum. I'm just posting to say that Mekong bank atms, which were previously free, have just started charging, 3 or 5 usd depending on the amount. Some machines are giving riel, check the screen. To use a mastercard, then if you can get a Canadia atm to work it's free (m...

Re: Banks & ATMs
Just reporting that Mekong bank atms have introduced a new fee (previously free). Three or five dollars depending on how much you're withdrawing.

Thank you. I pass the Russian place every week, never thought to go in. Ironically, I was up near DeLe Gare yesterday. I might have to wait until my legs are a bit better to venture out again.

Re: OTC cash advances, for Halifax credit card
Although the thread is old, just to update. Went to Mekong Bank on Monivong today. Got a hundred dollars on clarity. No mention of any fee. I'll check my statement in a few days.

I'm OP. Yes, it's the medical stocking type I was looking for. Yes, it's varcoise due to skeletal issues. I had some fantastic ones I bought on Amazon before I left. Not sure if this link will work: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Neo-G-Compression-Hosiery-Stockings-20-30mmHg/dp/B004EYBJ12/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF...
