He churned out the books for two months every year while at his house in Jamaica, Golden Eye. You might like to check out his ...

Re: Cambodia and Vietnam development since the 1970s
This might take have been covered before but what are the generally accepted reasons why Cambodia has failed so dismally to develop after the excesses of the KR period, while Vietnam has pushed ahead so quickly since their war and looks increasingly like its developing into a modern and complex econ...

Re: How Hard is Thai for a Semi-Fluent Khmer Speaker?
I'd say it's much easier to learn Lao if you speak Thai than it is to learn Thai if you speak Khmer. Sure, Khmer and Thai have many similar words and the alphabet will look familiar to someone who can read and write Khmer. But unlike if you are a Thai speaker looking to learn Lao, where in the begin...

Yep. Bring your man bun, wife-beater and fisherman-pants.. but leave the soap at home. Then get ready to load up on banana pancakes while watching all the seasons of friends on repeat.. :barf: The Island itself is quite nice though. The problem is all the backpackers that have washed up on it's shor...

Re: What drinks are you downing tonight
That's a very strange-looking tray. Stout is very popular here and Guinness is well-known, but it's the foreign export 9% that most people know. If the draught became available it would go down a storm with locals and foreigners alike. 8-) Yeah.. I'm surprised it's not more readily available in SEA...
