Busman, I said those male friends of mine have jobs teaching older kids, in high school. Some have experience, some don't - and the same goes for degrees, some have, some don't. They all started on just a few hours a day at first, but now work full time. Guess you never took reading comprehension 1...

She forgot to mention that she is a 20 something female so as a kindergarten teacher that is all that's required. From the couple interviews I have managed to get it looks more like $7/hr with no experience. Also an age limit of 35-45 is common. Loved the add for a native teacher with a degree + ex...

If they are young & female, qualifications are irrelevant, however if they are male & over 60, it's a waste of time.

If they were desperate, they would settle for some minimum wage job, which is still quite livable. Cambodia barely has a cheaper COL than the west anyways. The only things slightly cheaper are rent and vegetables. Just about everything else is either the same or more expensive so it works out to ro...

Been in PP for a month now in about the same situation as you, do have a TEFL but 64 yrs old, beginning to think vladimir's response is pretty much right on.
