Stiff Little Punks Comeback
Heard from a mate today that the formidable 'Stiff Little Punks' are back in business and scheduled to appear again on Friday, 22nd April at Sharky's. Can anyone confirm? I have only seen the band twice, but they gave me two of the most enjoyable evenings out I have had in Phnompers. Hope to see you...

Re: Is TEFL a profession? Indeed, is teaching a profession?
Miss Violet (Yipes, dropped myself in it already! Let me change that to Ms) - I'm very disappointed! All set up with an interesting title - encouraging some potentially interesting debate. But, excuse me (little cough) I think the presentation leaves much to be desired. Lots of patronising 'definiti...

Re: Shitbag orphanage "charities"
I would urge all these so - called Christian 'charities' to read about Lowood School in Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. Despicable!

Re: British International School of Phnom Penh is unethical
Thanks mate! (That's to nice, kind people who have generated such a lovely discussion). We're all in the same boat, really! No need to apologise, mate! As said, we all want better standards in 'Cambo' education. Thank you for your comments. Please do not hold it against me for being a bit of a stick...

Re: British International School of Phnom Penh is unethical
THIS IS A REPLY TO THE WHOLE OF RANT #2 BY 'UNPERSON' . NO POINT PICKING OUT QUOTES AS THERE IS SO MUCH TO DEAL WITH. (Pause for deep breath) Come on, mate. I thought we'd put this one to bed? I really want to be polite and reasonable, but you keep ranting about things without really knowing what ac...

Re: British International School of Phnom Penh is unethical
Sorry, edteja You are right. Mediocre was the wrong word to use! Nothing by the master is mediocre. Just that in my humble opinion it is not as great as some of the other comedies. Which leads me to attempt a summing up of this whole episode: A Comedy of Errors, perhaps? PS Libel lifted?

Re: British International School of Phnom Penh is unethical
Hi chaps! kinglear#1 again I utterly agree with your comments, Chuangt2u. By the way, anyone can check out the International assessment argument simply by doing a bit of research. 'Sent to Cambridge' in my piece refers to the fact that the exam scripts are (have to be) sent by courier to CIE HQ at H...

Re: British International School of Phnom Penh is unethical
For your information, The British International School of Phnom Penh does follow a programme from Cambridge International Examinations (CIE); years 6 & 9 take externally assessed exams, which are sent to Cambridge. Furthermore, year 11 students sit for IGCSE exams, which are also submitted to Cambri...
