Re: Net profits of khmer440 and cambodia CEO
I don't consider myself a "Noob", shudder, nor am I asking for financial information related to either of these forums, counselor. I don't live in Cambodia, haven't been there recently and am not a "regular" here; I am very much interested in the country of Cambodia however. Did you have something r...

Re: Net profits of khmer440 and cambodia CEO
After 14 years, you consider yourself a "Noob"? Ahem. In any case, why didn't you just come out from jump street and announce that you were a weird stalker type that has been working up to this OP for a decade and a half? I'm sure all the relevant parties would have happily opened up the financial s...

Re: Net profits of khmer440 and cambodia CEO
Hold on a moment kisser and Moe, this thread is about Migs and PB paying me real money to squander in the KOW, don't try and make it into a rational discussion. I resent any implication that I was trying to have any sort of a rational discussion in the midst of a thread that was about something tha...

Re: Net profits of khmer440 and cambodia CEO
The Arab Spring started the whole mess? I think you need to pick up a history book son. You'll find that the Yurpeons definitely fucked the Middle East up back when they were carving up the globe, long before the Americans ever got around to messing with such things. It's a bit silly to act all butt...

Re: Meghan Markle - the Yoko Ono of the Royal Family
'Let' ?? 'Let' ??? Time for a new princess, and a new backbone for a certain Ginga When was the last time a Brit was able to refuse a command from an American? Vietnam, maybe? The tea sipping fog breathers are a bit amusing with their anachronistic royal family and kings and queens and such. How qu...

Re: Angkor Wat Da... New Attraction in China
For some reason, I knew about the '31 expo, but I didn't (or at least I don't remember) reading about the one in 1909. Cheers, always appreciate your knowledge.

Well, that has to be a bit embarrassing...
Re: MMMM rum
Haven't tried the Zacapa (yet - but will have a look for it now), but Flor de Caña (especially the bottles aged 7 + years) are the best I've had, and are very good value for money, even outside of Nicaragua.

Re: Khmer birthdays, no big deal?
I'd thought I'd read about this somewhere - that traditionally, birthdays aren't a big deal and that most Khmer measure their age by the New Year?

Re: What book are you currently reading?
Just recently finished "The Road Not Taken: Edward Lansdale and the American Tragedy in Vietnam" by Max Boot, from the CFR that I mentioned earlier in this thread. I mention this solely to save anyone else who might have been thinking of picking it up. For one, at least half of the book deals with L...

Re: Free flow wine and tapas tonight
And nothing is going to change by actively attacking those that try, at least, to contribute sensible postings to this forum. Indeed, your efforts to date are only intended or likely to further reduce those even bothering to come to this increasingly plebian forum let alone contribute to it. I don'...
