Re: Did Rebels MC Members Smash Up Sundance?
What a wanker. If he has come back on another passport the AFP will be onto him pretty quickly. At least they couldn’t do much damage at Sundance. It’s scruffy already isn’t it?

Re: I think the British Embassy is tired of all the whinging
Why are so many of these people so desperate to leave. They seem to me to be people who would normally stay as long as possible and breach their visa conditions. We are locked down in Australia but I would much prefer to be locked down in Cambodia.

Re: How much for a bridge?
I Cairns we are replacing two roundabouts with traffic lights and it’s costing 15 million and taking a year. In Perth they are building a curved pedestrian bridge 6 metres wide, 230 metres and 230 metres long for 6.9 million. That Khmer bridge looks a bit crap so the price is about right. Depends ho...

My Taiwanese neighbour imported 10,000 masks from China about 3 weeks ago. He paid $4 each and hoped to sell them online for $20 each. Haven’t seen him since.

I didn’t know that there was more than one victim in the UK but who would be surprised. This has interesting stuff from KIR who got the journos involved and played the major part in his downfall.
Personally I don’t think Fletch ever recovered from being unfriended by Kensvay.

Re: The David Fletcher Thread
The book sounds line a winner. So many references to enemies. He has had more than me! I thought I was the gunna with the old silver merc. But that was the Aussie miner who was involved in coal in Kalimantan. And he did have a bodyguard type mate. They were always in the walkabou. Fletch certainly c...

Re: New coronavirus spreading rapidly.
Lots of tin foil hats around here. It’s the real deal as I anticipated. Nineteen dead in one aged care facility in Washington state. Ten Aussies skiing in Aspen gave got it. Huge panic in Australia this morning with shoppers emptying supermarkets. Empty stadiums for football and luckily for Kiwi fan...

The Americans did very little for the Japanese for several years after WW2. They punished them severely and food and soap were in short supply. The Korean War saw industry ramped up quickly and our non commie friends became important to us.

Tom Fawthrop gets a mention in the last link. He is not Australian but a Pom. We used to know him in Bangkok back in the day when he worked for the Irish Times. I saw him at Mr Browns place in Snookyville about six years ago. He is a bloody good journo.
