I love how it would be considered "ok" if he did have "special" plates or a bodyguard. The cop should have taken a real shot at the tires. It doesn't look like he's aiming, just trying to scare the dude. I would have busted two of his tires even if it meant I might end up losing my job. Those are the dudes I give a "fuck off" head nod when the honk at me. Great video, but it kinda angers me. I remember when a driver hit a girl, knocking her off her moto near my house. Obviously, a crowd quickly formed but the guy wouldn't get out of his car and tried leaving but a bunch of us got in front with hands on the hood to stop him. Before going I though of parking my moto in front of him, good thing I didn't (to be fair it was only a camry so he coudn't have done much more than topple it). At least we managed to have him get out.fopro wrote:He spoke like he was a big shot who could order the police away, but they weren't buying it. The driver was some old gray haired guy in business attire. No bodyguards or driver. Regular Phnom Penh plates. No special tags. Yet he seemed to think he was entitled to impunity like he was somebody special.
Speaking of aggravated fleeing and eluding...

Amusing. I wish it had been at night, so we could see the sparks fly and the exhaust system fall off the back of the SUV.
Am I wrong, or are all these Khmer males really low-grade morons as I have always suspected? Do any of them have a decent education or international experience? My guess has always been that, to a man, they would be taxi drivers in any other country. If that.

Let's hope you are either quite young or the average life expectancy of an adult male in Cambodia increases, or both, otherwise I fear you won't achieve your dream.johnny99 wrote: I am looking forward to the day when those drivers of the big SUV's are not all above the law and learn a little common courtesy.

Excellent video, well done!
Is this the sort of thing that should make the khmer press ? Either they caught him and we should see the guy with his head hung low and a 'I'm a very naughty boy' sign around his neck, or they didn't catch him, and we should see a 'police are apealling for witnesses' notice.
Or will 'discretion' take the place of any kind of justice ?

How could they NOT catch him, that bike is stuck under his truck. He had to have stopped down the road.Jack Pot wrote:Excellent video, well done!
