A Book You May Well Be In
A Book You May Well Be In
I'm writing a book about my life at the moment and have quite a lot done already, I'll be releasing it on Amazon in 6 to 12 months. I don't want to go on about how amazing my life was or any shit like that; actually, if anything, it was a slow, bizarre but darkly humorous car crash. But I've had enough people over the years tell me to write it, that I now see some value in the idea
Anyway, It's also important that I not misrepresent someone, not that I particularly give a shit, but for the integrity of the story. I'm going to be very honest about everything that happened. I know a lot of the people I knew are no longer on the board, but if you see this, please get in touch.
Does anyone know how I could get in contact with David Finch? If you do, please PM me some contact details.

Sounds interesting and frightening.
It is 15 years since 'Gilboa's Best Friends Guide to Ganja Gangbangs' was shat out so a less cuntish book would be welcome.

I'm pretty sure it won't just be about this country.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Off the Rails in Phnom Penh: Into the Dark Heart of Guns, Girls, and Ganja is without a doubt the best $2 book on the riverside. A brilliant piece of bullshit...kind of like a fiction period book claimed to be non-fiction.rob77 wrote:Sounds interesting and frightening.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences.
I'm guessing that your observations will be quite blunt and honest as I don't recall you ever making excuses for either your or someone else's behavior.
Best of luck.
Kev

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Guns, girls and ganga always seemed a pretty authentic book to me.
Perhaps we move in different circles.
The horse book should be a hoot,he sounds like my kind of chap.

Yeah, the longer I'm here, the more I think that book was very authentic for that time.ken svay wrote:Guns, girls and ganga always seemed a pretty authentic book to me.

I am reasonably sure that I did nothing embarrassing or cringe worthy during my overlap in time here with the Horse, so I doubt that I will have to be worried about appearing in his book.
"We, the sons of John Company, have arrived"
I'm sure you'll have a cameo, at the very least.Playboy wrote:I am reasonably sure that I did nothing embarrassing or cringe worthy during my overlap in time here with the Horse, so I doubt that I will have to be worried about appearing in his book.
If his book is as good as his posts were I would definitely buy it.
Could admin pull one or two of the classics from back in the day so the newer members can see what all the fuss is about.

Good to read positive responses, thanks. I've lived in fourteen countries over the years and the book will be about all of them, though Cambodia will be one of the focuses.
I would like to post a chapter or two on here for your criticism. It has been several years and I'm not sure my observations are entirely accurate, I'd also appreciate comments on prose, function etc.;I'm awaiting admin's decision on that because it would break the new rules.
I got David Finch's contact, that's great but how about Brad's, or 'The King' as he was also known? He's very angry at me for some reason.
