Unique ideas for a date
Having spent the last 6 years of my life leering at the scantily dressed females of the go-go and hostess bars of asia, it is time for me to return to the dating scene.
I'm looking for unique ideas for a date with a european girl in PP - I have a few ideas, but they all seem like a bit of a gamble at the moment, not sure if they would work together. Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated.
Thanks!

They are places I have never tried out before - e.g. the landscape hotel opposite the cambodiana has a restaurant on the roof with a nice view, but I have no idea if they food is any good.

Amateur!
I've been married for coming on a decade, so think it's now safe to share my pro tips that were passed down to me and always helped me pull off successful dates (excuse the Americanism) despite not exactly being Brad Pit.
Go to posh, quiet, romantic venues for an anniversary, not your first date! Such venues up the odds and put everyone on the defensive. You should aim for something fun and relaxing, very open and public and involves some kind of activity so you're not so concerned with avoiding periods of silence and end up talking a lot of shit or drinking too quickly.
Go for day time dates at quiet but public venues that have booze but don't involve swimming costumes! It leads towards slow moderated drinking, you're not racing against the clock and no one is on the defensive thinking you're going to make a move, therefore higher chance of everyone having a good time.
A few options that fit the bill:
- Thai garden picnic over the fishing lake, plus a bit of fishing for a laugh (don't worry you won't catch anything)
- Quad biking out by the killing fields (she can sit on the back of your quad if she doesn't know how to drive
- Bike ride / beer stall crawl on the other side of the Mekong (Ari Kasat), time it so you end up at the posh place on the river there for sunset!

Thanks stark, that's the kinda info I was after, seen her a couple of times already, so was thinking of something a bit different from the usual, more time to talk etc. Could you give me some more info on:
Bike ride / beer stall crawl on the other side of the Mekong (Ari Kasat), time it so you end up at the posh place on the river there for sunset!
I go quite often for a bike ride across jap bridge/the bridge down at mao zedong, and usually end up drinking large amounts of cheap angkor at the small karaoke/beer garden places. however, I think these places are too noisy to take a date? also, where is the posh place on the river you speak of?
would probally be seeing her from 6pm ono

Withe these modern, urbane and sophisticated young women it's probably best to take her to a movie.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
The posh place must be the oddly named S mango.
It has a pool but is hardy posh and very hard to find.

Blue Pumpkin. You can eat while sitting up on these huge sofas.
Take her to the Flicks. Movie and dinner all in one.
Lemon Grass and sit upstairs on the cosey pillows.
Take her to Martinis. They have good pizza. This one was a joke, just seeing if you're paying attention.
Try fake ice skating in Sovanna Shopping Center or real roller skating in Sorya Shopping Center.
