Yeah, he should much rather do cocaine, heroine, valium, amphetamines, ritalin, etc, that would be better. (caveat: joke, I think)cambod wrote:12 cups a day? Surely you've cut your life expectancy down by 20 years.

^^I'm doing better, I'm down to roughly 6 cups a day now. Just needed 3-4 cans of Red Bull to substitute and I'm doing great.
But just kidding, although I am on cup number 6 as of right now *sip*, my last one I swear.

I'm starting a UN initiative to help people like you, headed by Coffee Anan.AK87 wrote:although I am on cup number 6 as of right now *sip*, my last one I swear.

Okay just had a 7th cup, I'm bad.
On a serious note though, for god's sake people, don't do the whole yaba thing as suggested earlier. Sure, Ritalin, Adderall, etc isn't exactly "great" stuff either for you, but getting into the other crap, especially here is just asking for trouble. Don't make our death toll thread climb and climb because of something stupid.

Methamphetamine has been found by many studies to be significantly neurotoxic. It also has a serotonin reuptake inhibiting effect, in addition to its dopamine and noradrenaline reuptake inhibiting effects that it shares with amphetamine and methylphenidate.sreedrugs4all wrote:AK87 wrote:So, in conclusion as of 2013, in short neither (dextro)amphetamine- nor methylphenidate are available even with a prescription. Is that correct?Partly correct, not available in pharmacies, but just ask a bus/truck/young moto driver or a working girl and they will hook you up with Yaba(sorry forgot the Khmer word) in the blink of an eye for a very reasonable price. Just take into consideration that the amount of the psychoactive substance is 3-8 higher then what pharmacies offer in the western world.mrs_carrot wrote:As of now, correct. I've tried to no avail, so it's massive amounts of caffeine for me all day.
Basically, it's a different kind of drug in terms of health and effects.
I bought what I believe was the last blister of Modiodal (modafinil) they had at Pharmacie de la Gare about 1½ years ago. I have been there a couple of times after that trying to get more of it but they said that they didn't have it and that they had no plans to import it. I wonder if anyone here knows what would be required to get a smaller pharmacy to import it, or otherwise if it would be legal/without problems to import it as a private person by mail from India?
Does anyone know the status of the pharmaceutical Modafinil?
I can't seem to find it at any pharmacy. Is it legal to send from India to Cambodia?
How should I go about this? Any info appreciated.

I am getting a script from my canadian doctor. Is zoloft still available?BenvandenBussche wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2013 3:02 pmI'm a Dutch psychiatrist and I work at Sunrise Mental Clinic, #112, St. 432 in Phnom Penh (mobile 090697106)
You can probably buy Zoloft (sertraline), Valium, Xanax without prescription at Pharmacie de la Gare or U-Care Pharmacie. If they don't have it, you can buy them in my clinic.
Ritaline, Concerta, Strattera etc are NOT AVAILABLE in Cambodia. You can buy Ritaline or Concerta at Bungrumrad International Hospital in Bangkok but only with a prescription. I could write a prescription for you.
If you have a prescription and a letter of a doctor/psychiatrist you will not end up in trouble in Cambodia if you bring it into the country.
Are you currently in Canada or Cambodia? If Canada, you should bring all you can with the original prescription, in the original packages, and an original letter from the prescribing doctor signed in blue ink and with some kind of official looking rubber stamp, if they have. Unfortunately I'm not joking. Many transit airports can be very picky...to say the least. I've heard many banged up abroad stories, and have become overly cautious when traveling internationally with meds. It's even illegal to bring simple stuff like Tylenol Cold, Nyquil, or a Vicks inhaler into Japan.Margaretha wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 11:16 amI am getting a script from my canadian doctor. If you are in Cambodia already, then go to as many pharmacies as you can. I doubt if a prescription from a doctor in Canada will help you here. You should ask for Sertraline unless you can't use a generic. Some generic meds do not work the same as the originals, no matter what others say.
I will ask at my go-to pharmacy within the next few days. Don't bother trying to call or email any pharmacies here.

Why not call or email pharmacies? I have emailed Pharmacie de la Gare a few times and have had comprehensible replies within 24 hours.
