Ah, that old 'greed and stupidity' combo again combined with the total lack of any self awareness or moral compass - note that he blamed you for his sacking rather than blaming himself and reflecting on his own misconduct.Don-Pierre de Plume wrote:ACE/IDP management found misconduct.
I won't name him in public here, but the core of the issue was that he said he represented ACE and assisted a lady copying details on a different form (at the Embassy) without mention of money. She thought she was dealing with someone just wanting to be helpful. Time spent less than 30 minutes. Also runs his own business. He was at the embassy to assist 2 of his clients for an AU study visa.
Next day he called her asking for $50 (and that the "ACE usual fee is $150"). After I talked to him suggesting some ethics (while we appreciate his assistance, any money should be discussed at the time - not later), I asked him not to contact her again. Instead, next day he sent her an SMS in which he threatened to call the Embassy (if she doesn't pay) saying the information on the form is false. Not that it would have gotten him anywhere (I believe) but his conduct stinks.
I don't take such shit from anyone. Since being booted out he also threatened me.
Well kudos to you for dealing with the matter properly and kudos also to ACE for dealing with the greedy unprofessional little shit promptly.
