There is not a single mention of Blissful in the report, nor have I menioned Blissful anywhere else, so I have no idea what you're talking about.bonnetdedouche wrote:Bob, why are you linking Blissful to that story ? That's not really nice is it ?

Really? In your imagination. Please provide me with any reference I have made to Blissful, directly or indirectly.
However, there is a picture - which I did not supply - intended to show some of the interesting architecture in Kampot, which I hadn't recognised as Blissful although I do know Blissful quite well. I have alerted the person responsible for the pictures to get it changed. It does not link or imply a connection between Blissful and the case. It's simply an interesting building.

Article:
Not only a reference, one using a stolen photo.
So... is there some connection to Blissful?
Or is this more "it wasn't me... it was the editor" whinging?

You responded while I was clarifying. There is no connection with Blissful, the pic was simply used as an interesting example of Kampot architecture. I have messaged the blog owner, who's in a different timezone, and suggested he change it, although Blissful is not mentioned in the body copy explicitly or implicitly. I will certainly impress upon him the need to respect copyright of photographs. If there was such a connection I would have clearly stated it to be so. I take full responsibility for what I write, that's why my name is in the byline and I don't hide behind anonymity or a psuedonym.

So we should judge your credibility by some of the drivel I've seen in this forum.OrangeDragon wrote: it relates due to verification of credibility of the publication... which you presented as being more credible than that other. the best journalist in the world does a piece for the enquirer/huffington post... he gets an enquirer/huffington post reputation.

Feel free. Though I'm not presenting myself as a journalist providing "More reliable reportage than Belgian newspapers" on a publication that reprints fake news as truth, then letting other people write bad information into my articles and use other people's copyrighted photos for something I put my name on.
I think it would be a fair estimation to say that your "editor" (read, blog owner) does zero fact checking verification on pieces published there.

I think you have far too much time on your hands.

Oh, and those who are making a big thing about the Blissul photo can meet me on Tuesday night. At the Blissful quiz night. I'm the guy at the front. And not hiding behind anonymity or pretend names.

Only a couple of people are allowed to see Olly. There is one friend who sees him every couple of days. According to him Olly has not even been allowed to read a letter from his mother.gavinmac wrote:Has anyone true to interview Ollie or any witnesses?

As far as I know the names of witness on either side have not been released.
