Charlie Chaplin in Cambodia

A new front page article from Philip Coggan on Charlie Chaplin's visit to Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat in the 1930s, at the height of his fame, and its impact on Khmer comedy since.

Thanks Scobie. Just wanted to mention the sources I used, since they did the real work: Kevin Ponniah's "Charlie Chaplin Lives On", in Southeast Asian Globe magazine, June 26, 2015, and Darryl Collins' "Charlie Chaplin in Cambodia", in Sarika magazine, vol.1, no.4, October-December 2002. Both are available on line.
