I think what's going on is that you're one of these APLE hating nutters trying to discredit them and start another "APLE is evil" thread.

That's a bit of a twist from their real name. Says a lot about you that you'd edit it to distort the meaning.

We are a Cambodian Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) dedicated to combating the sexual abuse and exploitation of children.

Every tuk-tuk driver figures out where someone's parents are from, what commune, what district, their social standing etc, within a 5 minute ride.

Wax this guy, he's just another creep.

A tuk tuk driver told your wife something you had never noticed and it may or may not be true. How exactly are you being harassed here?

Funny since I just first heard of them days ago. Tuk tuk driver would not know where her parents live. It is outside the city and my wife and I both have bikes! I or her never take a tuk tuk or motodop.

I don't know this guy, but to be fair, I was followed about 5 years ago for a while. I don't know by what group, but I know I fit the profile, which you do not -- single white guy, over 30, out and about a lot. White guys are easy to follow in Cambodia for obvious reasons. Asian guys are not. Thus the disparity in arrests.

Their tradecraft was terrible so it was easy to burn them one day and they stopped when I directly confronted them.

Surely if you arent doing anything out of the ordinary, they will only watch you for a short time, before realising you are not a risk to children and move on to someone else.

Looks like sniper_m4 really was being followed.

He is the Eric Erdmann discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=54898

Perhaps a few posters are checking their spelling in draft posts containing apologetic corrections to posts made earlier in this thread in light of events?

I note that in today's Cambodia Daily article APLE claims to barely know who this guy is...
Khoem Vando, deputy director of field operations for anti-pedophile NGO Action Pour Les Enfants, said that he was aware of an arrest, but knew little else about the case.

“I know that the immigration police arrested him, and I heard that he was involved in abusing children in the U.S.,” he said.

Believable?
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
