Well, I will do the opposite then.Is there some kind of Internet law similar to Godwins Law stating that when one poster posts about a family problem, it becomes compulsory for every other poster to jump on the thread and point out that their own partner and their family are fantastic and the poster is very lucky.
I tried this with my Thai nieces.Of course, we've always had lots of nieces stay with us - they're helpful, sweet and cute and I like having them around.
Since their dysfunctional Mum and Dad wouldn't even give them money to buy food, let alone pay for them to go to school, I took them 'under my wing', got them back into school, paid for them to eat regularly etc.
Unfortunately, it all ended in total fcuk-up (several times), since said nieces couldn't give a damn about going to school or eating regularly - they just wanted to go out at night on the back of the teen boys' motorbikes, (so you can guess what happened next...).
I'm out of that now, happily living in Myanmar and the Thai ex-family can go to hell
Ah, that's too easy. Teen pregnancies.simon44 wrote:(so you can guess what happened next...)
he's up in the dock at some point today. the story thus far sounds like this.....
grandma locks him up {his mummy died when he was 6 months old, dad is Mrs p's brother and a no good village gangster, so he never had much chance}
he escapes from granny to meet his cartel in some rented flophouse.
unbeknownst some other scrote has been lifted by the fuzz and sings like the proverbial canary, telling the rozzers not only the location of the hideout, but which loose floor tile the stash is hidden.
when the bizzies come a'knocking the hapless crew scatter, Foolio decides to grab what he can and leg it. obviously he doesn't get far.
so there is a big bag of the old meff in the room which none of the 7 under arrest reprobates will admit to, although they are in possession of a few straws and a bit of Percy. numbnuts however gets caught with 20 bags, and therefore is the supposed ringleader.
he was under the naive impression that the 'boss' would get him off, but obviously that ain't gonna happen.
looking at 3-7 stretch, just 16 years old. but at least he has all his mates inside with him for a year or 2.
I told you so, is my current mantra, alongside 'not one fucking riel'
just another statistic in the drugs war. tbf he isn't a bad kid, just fucked from birth, and too lazy/stupid to take the chances offered him.

After the apprenticeship in prison he will come out angry and wanting to get paid back for the time he lost, and society will pay the bill. Fuck , when will they end these stupid laws surrounding drugs.......
poor kid , 3 years will seem like a lifetime at that age.

When he is locked up he should spend his time reading and taking online courses for a degree. Certainly when he finishes serving his time he will come out a changed person no longer interested in returning to his prior lifestyle. And with no access to drugs for so many years his addiction would be cured.

a. he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, dropped out of school at 14 after it was found out he was taking the lunch money and spending in on playing poolGMJS-440 wrote:When he is locked up he should spend his time reading and taking online courses for a degree. b. the provincial nick is known as a place all the druggies are put and pretty much given free reign inside the fence.
I'd like to agree, but the little fucknugget is barely literate. his saving grace is a skill for electronics and a genuine love of animals. sadly I doubt khmer prison will do much to rehabilitate the stupid little sod.

I told you man. A little seed capital and you could have had a young scarface on your hands. You'd have had your bum in the butter churn instead of dodging cobras while you reach into dark spaces to collect quail eggs.pedros wrote:a. he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, dropped out of school at 14 after it was found out he was taking the lunch money and spending in on playing poolGMJS-440 wrote:When he is locked up he should spend his time reading and taking online courses for a degree. That new house you're building would have had Doric pillars like a north London Greek kebab millionaire's.
Thought teachers were supposed to recognise talent in the young and encourage it.

Hope the little scrote isn't one of the lags affected by this. I'm still sending him soap and mama noodles. Might actually pay a visit soon to see how bad it is, wearing medical scrubs and armed with Dettol, of course.

Still on remand. Probably 3-5, but as he was lifted during HE's war on drugs, it could be as much as 7. The nick is apparently filled to bursting with this clampdown, and not a bad thing, really.
