Isn't exnet lovely ... oh, yes it is. Except fer when you need them during peak times or bad weather like right mf now!
Course batman has multiple exnet friends, cause batman speaks to every single driver in whateva language they like.
So, dial one or two numbas, they say let me call my exnet other buddies, and voila, just like dat ... taxi in rain r shine, peak or not peek a boo!
Dumb asses, learn a some lingo r just act deaf and dumb and hope they know sign language.
Oh, right ... Speakeasy. I relent.

I have not had any login issues. I have restarted my phone numerous times without having to log into the app.

Boeng TomPun to St 172, 5$. Once again, I selected their "classic" (basic car, Camry) and a very clean Toyota Highlander accepted the job. Big truck. Sweet. Not that cheap tho, this exnet, but amazingly easy.
Edit - I was charged for the basic car rate, not SUV.

Anyone who doesn't like Capitalism is a pathetic loser. God bless the USA and no place else.
$5 seems reasonable given you'd probably pay $3 - $4 in a tuk tuk. An extra buck or two to ride in safety and comfort and no hassles.DetroitMuscle wrote:Boeng TomPun to St 172, 5$. You are correct. Compared to other taxis, it's reasonable.slavedog wrote:$5 seems reasonable given you'd probably pay $3 - $4 in a tuk tuk. If you have summoned the car on the app, you need to make sure they use the app to calculate the fair, otherwise you will pay more.epidemiks wrote:I've used this a couple of times, and had regular taxis turn up. Didnt even think to check the app at the end of the trip and just paid the meter, which was within 2000r or so of the app rate.
Your phone will tell you if they have set the 'app meter'.

Yeah I didn't even think about it once I hopped in. The taxi meter was basically the same price when I checked after the ride, though I reckon that's due to it being late night through empty streets. Will make sure the the app price is paid next time.slavedog wrote:If you have summoned the car on the app, you need to make sure they use the app to calculate the fair, otherwise you will pay more.epidemiks wrote:I've used this a couple of times, and had regular taxis turn up. On one occasion we used Exnet and a taxi-rouge car turned up. He set the rouge meter and the price was a lot higher than it should have been.epidemiks wrote:Yeah I didn't even think about it once I hopped in. On another occasion a car arrived to pick me up from the Empire after a few Sunday ales. I got in the car and the driver proceeded to try and negotiate a fixed price. I impolitely declined and had another beer while waiting for a new car.
So, yes, it pays to check.
With Uber, you can report this kind of nonsense via the app. Not sure if Exnet has that feature.

A friend flew in and needed a taxi to stung meanchey. I told him about the app and he said he'd use it. He ordered a taxi at baggage claim, and waited 20mins for it to arrive. He saw no meter in the car and perhaps didn't undrstand how to use the app properly, and the driver wanted a flat fee to take him. He reluctantly agreed, and paid the driver at the destination only to receive the exnet email shortly after with a much reduced price on it.
Pays to be familiar with how it works and not rely on driver honesty.

They need a report feature. It will cause customers to get pissed.the_purple_turtle wrote:A friend flew in and needed a taxi to stung meanchey. I told him about the app and he said he'd use it. Yes there is a report feature, but I think it is only after the journey (rate my driver style)... but you can contact the App creators via phone or email if you hit the 3 lines at the top left of the log in screen..DetroitMuscle wrote:Other companies cars should be freelancing on exnet.slavedog wrote:On one occasion we used Exnet and a taxi-rouge car turned up. As for company drivers freelancing... I know of at least 2 guys doing exactly that right now and sharing a nice sum for the company they work for while they do it.

Yeah he reported it and got an email response, so the company are aware. Teething problems are to be expected, i guess!Joon wrote:They need a report feature.
