It certainly looks like Kevin Weng or Huawei are pressuring or requesting or paying journalists to remove the content.
A few days ago when I first saw the news articles I googled this license plate 2AY-3333 in the hopes of finding Khmer language articles with more photos and info.
I got links to news articles about Kevin Weng's drunk driving hit and run in the google results but then when I clicked on many of them, the story had disappeared.
Even now, when I
google 2AY-3333, the first result is freshnewsasia.com article from five days ago, but the
link is dead:

So the question is did Khmer Times delete a story about Kevin Weng's drunk driving hit and run around the same time that these newspapers deleted their own stories about Weng, and around the same time that Weng or Huawei or someone on their behalf were offering money for the deletion of unfavorable news coverage.
