Mystery Brit Toby Nelhams flagged at airport immigration
I believe the BKK Post and Khmer Times have some sort of content sharing arrangement as I recently saw the Post publish an article using sources and quotes taken from a recent Khmer Times article.
This is just my assumption but seeing how their Editor used to work for several of the main English language newspapers in Thailand it would make sense to have worked out some kind of cooperative relationship along these lines.

Normally a newspaper pays for "wire service" from different sources. That's why you'll see entire Washington Post and New York Times articles reprinted in the Phnom Penh Post. They look the same as every other article, except at the end it says "Washington Post", etc. They don't copy most of other articles, and just add "according to..."GB77 wrote:I believe the BKK Post and Khmer Times have some sort of content sharing arrangement as I recently saw the Post publish an article using sources and quotes taken from a recent Khmer Times article.

I think this is him, there are photos of his arrest. According to the article, the other 3 are on the run. They include 2 Brits and 1 South African.http://www.freshnewsasia.com/index.php/ ... Itemid=101
Here he is at the Phnom Penh Municipality Court. https://www.cambodiadaily.com/news/susp ... rt-125232/gavinmac wrote:Weird. Cambodian authorities are denying they arrested him.

They're too busy copying litigation documents to intimidate Khmer440 in court.

Why do Pattaya murderers think that Phnom Penh is the best place to 'lay low' whilst the Thais investigate their offense? Wouldn't a sabbatical a bit further out of reach be better?

My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.
Yes, I know what news wire copy is but if you check the Bangkok Post's website for Cambodian related articles you will find they are also reposting specifically using Khmer Times as a source and even linking to the KT website.Miguelito wrote:Normally a newspaper pays for "wire service" from different sources. This appears to be a content sharing arrangement which both newspapers are a party to and which are not uncommon among Asian newspapers, in fact there is at least one organisation of Asian newspapers who have agreements to cooperate editorially in such a way.
