Trippy shit is that Datura.Piston Broke wrote:Datura plant/flowers, seen a few around town. Lasts about 3 days.
I lost 2 good mates in one night, about 30 years ago, due to that "flower".
It was grown in our local nursery and easily picked over their fence.
We used to enjoy a keg or two on the beach each saturday night, mixed with whatever drug.
Luckily i was only a gold top type of guy..

And is apparently the most terrifying trip one can ever experience/remember.Piston Broke wrote:Datura plant/flowers, seen a few around town. Lasts about 3 days.
Scopolamine, an extract of the datura plant, has been deployed by certain people; NI *cough cough*GERIANs in recent years because of it's power of hypnotizing the victim into doing whatever one tells them to and not remembering what happened during the time they were under the drug.
Without proper "supervision" - aka whoever administered the substance - the victim is essentially rudderless until the effects wear off:
This is that dude's former/current problem.

It's more a state of extreme delerium than a trip.
Belladonna, Jimson Weed, Deadly Nightshade, Datura. Not names to fuck with lightly eh.
My eyes were hyper dilated for over four days.

The hardcore crusties and hippies I knew in the late 80s/ early 90s used to do Datura. Some of them would do Belladonna too. That worked best squeezed directly into your eyeball, like windowpanes.

Took that shit as a teen in SA, We call it 'malpitte', means mad seeds. Took about 200 on a Friday night (these plants grew wild in the parks, therefor free).
Woke up on Saturday and couldn't walk. Crawled out of my room into the kitchen and told my mom "hospital, NOW". On the way to the hospital I told my ma to turn down the radio, she told me it wasn't on.
The induced vomiting at the hospital, but I hallucinated like mad for three days, in ICU, with all the meds they were giving me to clean me out.
I watched water climb out the glass, I chatted to friends, I read the entire Sunday Times front to back, not.
Never been near that shit again, same as acid. NEVER AGAIN!
He must have had a rough time of it. Lesson learnt, hopefully.

Insofar as it's possible to enjoy that, I actually did (long time ago).
You manifest these realities. It's quite realistic. That's why it's not uncommon for people to acidentally walk off high things/in front of fast moving stuff. They are seeing something else entirely. I wrote at length, at that time, about all the fucked up shit I experienced
But it's very, very, very dangerous. A person can very easily die or cause permanent organ damage. There's no real erring on the side of caution, some chance is involved.
So, can't exactly recommend people rush out to get some from your nearest park or anything.
Unless there's somebody you really want fucked up and deported, of course.

Stop using drugs you know nothing about. You will save us responsible ones a lot of hassle.

I'm not sure the Acid House revolution of the late 1980s reached as far as the People's Republic of Kampuchea. Besides that I don't think she was even born then. I'm not sure it would be a good idea anyway.spitthedog wrote:
