Still Intended to Move Back to Cambodia
Hello everyone,
This is Savuth again. I'm still intended to move back to Cambodia. My heart is in Cambodia. But first I need to get my master degree in mathematics so I could teach at PUC when I am retired from work as a Power Systems Engineer. I'm currently working in Pennsylvania. That's all friends!
Have a great day/night !

Thank goodness.
Savuth, I had often wondered what became of you, your studies and your English teaching strategies.
Thanks for the update!

My English teaching App is on hold. I ran out of fund. So I went back to work. I will jumpstart it soon when I have more funding for it. I have a lot of expenses lately.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:Thank goodness.

Why would you want to teach at PUC? You have very valuable credentials from a US university, you should set your sights on Royal University of Phnom Penh or Phnom Penh Institute of Technology. They probably need power system engineers here too, or even people who can train others in these skills. Don't sell yourself short.Savuth wrote:Hello everyone,

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

It is a common enough internet abbreviation meaning "It's so long I can't be bothered reading it". However, in this case it made no sense as the original post was just a few short sentences.Savuth wrote:I wondered the same thing...TL;DR?RobW wrote:What does that mean?YaTingPom wrote:TL;DR

What he said. What does PUC pay? $1200? $1500? You're never going to get a return on your investment at that rate. I know money isn't what you're after, but you should apply at RUPP and other more reputable institutions.Lucky Lucan wrote:Why would you want to teach at PUC? I just like PUC because of the founder and his family. I know some of them. I know the pay is not that great, but that is not what I am after. If I want more pays, I would stay working as an Engineer in the USA.

Thanks Lexus for the reply and recommendation! I'll post my resume if you could forward it to your known connections.LexusSchmexus wrote:What he said. What does PUC pay? $1200? $1500? Savuth,
How long have you been in the U.S then mate?
Do you by any chance still pick your pimples in wing mirrors, drive like a mad Indian, and have a fondness for drinking stout in the mornings?
