Idiosyncratic Folk around PP
After being away since December last year and coming back recently, I've noticed that many of the characters that used to stand out are still about. I'll post mine and I'm sure others could add many more.
The Lawrence of Arabia dude.
Weird dude that wears all white clothes along the river.
Tumour guy.
Thinking dude - sits along the river every afternoon in the thinking pose.
Angry Andy from Riverside Bistro.
The woman that shouts out the o b ay - whatever she yells, selling her sweet stuff off her cart.
Saw someone tall, probably a guy, dressed in black head to toe, with the whole face obscured by a hat and something like a the veil for a burka walking past Eric Keyser this morning. Weird outfit and lots of people looking at the person.
Haven't seen Wild Turkey Man in ages, did he ever come back?
Also there was a woman that hung around the river near FCC a lot, bit of a screw loose somewhere, anyway, was having a coffee with the Mrs on St 19 one day and she walked down the road stark naked.

Manfred, the german trash collector who was last heard of living in a temple somewhere around Street 172.
Whatever happened to the Daun Penh Boys? I heard a cracking story recently that the bull-necked hug Gary Ginger was now reduced to selling meat pies to customers in Phnom Penh girlie bars.

I know I'm unloveable. You don't have to tell me. I don't have much in my life, but take it - it's yours.

Yeah, I remember the garbage dude, saw a very old westerner collecting plastic the other night behind Wat Ounalom - never a good thing to see.

This is what happens when visitors fail to understand that the capital extends quite a bit beyond Daun Penh.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

You use it to pad lock and chain them up at night so they don't wander the streets without parental supervision.
I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

It's the white dudes from say....Essex or Melbourne i had in mind. To me it kinda looks like they've pierced their ears with clothes shop anti-theft security tags ;

Seen that guy around several times, always dressed the same (if it's the same bloke). Quite tall and fat, wears a black shirt or t-shirt, black military style cargo pants tucked into a pair of black military style J-boots, black wide brimmed hat with what appears to be a black sniper veil covering his face and back of his head and neck, black web-belt with 3 or 4 black tactical pouches hanging off it. I've even seen him wearing black tac-ops gloves a couple times also.. Saw someone tall, probably a guy, dressed in black head to toe, with the whole face obscured by a hat and something like a the veil for a burka walking past Eric Keyser this morning. Very strange dude indeed...probably goes around telling people he's on black-ops!
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
...and then there's the guy In TTP wearing khaki 5.11 cargoes, tucked into a pair of desert boots, a camouflage hat and Blackwater t-shirt (I have never seen him wear anything different!) who likes to sit in bars telling people he's a sniper with Blackwater in Iraq but he can't talk about it because he works on classified missions for the U.S. Govt. I think he's Scandanavian judging by his accent. I keep calling him Walter but he doesn't get it
