I'd rather pay tax or tea money as long as it's all legitimate and there are no issues moving forward.....well subject to further tightening of the rules.ricecakes wrote:I doubt a freelancer visa will ever happen. if you are freelancing/consulting in Cambodia then the government already gets 15% of your 'salary' in withholding tax. Whether that is passed on or not is completely down to the company you are working with

I applied for an ER Visa today and at first she tried to refuse me stating I was too young looking and handsome to be retired. but after showing her my passport and my age she still wouldn't believe me and said it must be a counterfeit...after some time conferring with her manager she agreed the passport was original and complimented me on my good looks.
Good to see they are taking there responsibility to employ a quota of visually impaired retardsFred Edwards wrote:I applied for an ER Visa today and at first she tried to refuse me stating I was too young looking and handsome to be retired. but after showing her my passport and my age she still wouldn't believe me and said it must be a counterfeit...after some time conferring with her manager she agreed the passport was original and complimented me on my good looks.

Accepted on Friday afternoon. No documentation, no problem or so she said. Seems very sure of herself. Will post with the final result when I get it back. She said 7 business days but I would expect end of this week.

A visa agent is posting on the Kampot Noticeboard that as of the end of this week (Friday) people will need a letter of employment to get even a 1 month or 3 month extension.

That'll get people crapping their khakis.
