They have them, but only every few months or so, and usually for travel over the following 6 or so months. They had $40 flights for PP<>BKK/Phuket/Chiang Ma/KL in early January for, iirc, June - Nov flights.raendi wrote:My experience is that PNH to BKK and back with AirAsia is normally about 120$ with cabin bag.
edit. I think they don't put promotions usually this route because it's so popular.

Bangkok air works out cheaper by far than AA, and the food is usually decent, no hidden charges, a free SIM each way, good staff. I don't see why folk would fuvk around with the Ryanair of Asia.
join their club free and get 40 kg checked in, no charge.

People doing visa runs shouldn't need 40kg of luggage thoughTaa Moan wrote:join their club free and get 40 kg checked in, no charge.

probably the surest way to get harassment from immigration officers is to cross borders without much/no luggagegavinmac wrote:People doing visa runs shouldn't need 40kg of luggage thoughTaa Moan wrote:join their club free and get 40 kg checked in, no charge.

A 30 minute flight often involves many hours of travel and waiting around at either end, so it's good when you get some complementary snacks and drinks rather than having to pay overinflated prices during the flight. Bangkok Air flies to Suvarnabhumi while Air Asia goes to Duong Muang, and I've also found that the times Air Asia flies are far from convenient.Edwardo wrote:Who wants airline food on a 30 minute flight?Jackal wrote:Bangkok air works out cheaper by far than AA, and the food is usually decent,

BA also have free “lounges” for you, although the counter won’t mention it.
Yes, complete nonsense. The immigration officer not only has no idea of you baggage, but they’re literally located before the bag claim.gavinmac wrote:That's nonsense.sociopath wrote:probably the surest way to get harassment from immigration officers is to cross borders without much/no luggagegavinmac wrote:People doing visa runs shouldn't need 40kg of luggage thoughTaa Moan wrote:join their club free and get 40 kg checked in, no charge.
