You are right about the welfare (state). Most immigrants to Canada know the rules for applying for all sorts of free shit, financial assistance etc. before they even arrive, and could teach people who were born there a thing or 2. An old workmate of mine related a tale from his previous workplace regarding a Filipina receptionist who was giddy upon learning her extended family had gotten approval to emigrate to Canada and was gushing about all the "free" services they would now be able to take advantage of. My mates reply. IT'S NOT FUCKING FREE. I'M PAYING FOR IT!

And most of them are not refugees. They took a flyer on winning the lottery and lost. I don't blame them for trying but nobody forced them to get on a shit vessel and try their luck. They all paid.

But I heard that Western governments were evil and had no compassion for the poor. I can't believe they have government services and benefits for impoverished immigrants. Surely these people would be better off in Cambodia, where bananas and taxis cost less. They're just too dumb to know that and they are brainwashed into thinking their lives will be better in the the USA or Australia or Germany.Gin&Tonic wrote:It's not just the standard of living. It's welfare. These refugees breed like rabbits so their fortnightly welfare cheque is huge. 6-8 children is not uncommon per household.
