"The final straw actually involved my mortal enemy vladimir, who you may or may not know is an insufferable, overposting asshat."
Totally agree with that. His website and the article are in my opinion both just self promoting "garbage", targeting a young socially inept demographic who are harboring the illusion of entering into some "fantasy relationship". He achieves this by writing material which panders to their fantasies. He is creating scenarios that his target audience want to believe in.Joon wrote:I don't even think the girl exists. The writing is so generic, we don't get enough details that would give a sense of authenticity to his story.gavinmac wrote:What about his story makes you thing the woman was a hooker? Because she spoke to a white man and agreed to date him?
He doesn't tell where he met her, he doesn't give more background about her, deep fried crickets don't taste like chicken wings, there is no instances of the particular quirks of Cambodians that would make this account believable, and we don't know how that dating episode ends.
And that was awfully, awfully written (I said that already).
As one person on his site says: "Globalseducer.com is a great resource for anyone wanting to improve their success with women. Sebastian puts in the work to give you value, and that's what this community is all about."
Or: "Sebastian Harris is one of the few dating coaches who understands the dynamics between men and women. He has the ability to connect with women within seconds by speaking to their emotions. And that's exactly what he teaches his coaching clients. To connect with women in an authentic way without hiding who you truly are."

That was completely fortuitous and purely for illustration purposes.Edwardo wrote:Joon snuck that bit in by herself.Miguelito wrote:I don’t think Harold had ever called me a lovely, lovely man...Joon wrote:Telling someone they suck is not an ad hom.straight jacked alt wrote:Really?

I don't generally use the word Zionist as an insult. I also don't generally use Armenian as an insult. I don't usually have a problem with Armenians provided that they stay in Armenia. I do have a problem with Armenian ultra-nationalists who use an internet forum that was designed for expats living in Cambodia as a platform to agitate against Aliyev and as a platform to promote Turkophobia. I also don't like Armenians who use such a forum to collect information about its users for the Armenian intelligence services.
I don't like bringing up this subject and I don't like steering this thread off-topic but unfortunately certain posters have dragged my name into this and I need to clarify my views.

I thought Armenia was a made up place like Narnia and Hogwarts.

For those that don’t get the reference, that’s a Hitler quote that he used upon answering a question at the beginning of the Holocaust on how their actions could go unnoticed. It’s displayed prominately at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.Lucky Lucan wrote:Who today even remembers the Armenians?pedros wrote:I thought Armenia was a made up place like Narnia and Hogwarts.

What happened to the Armenians was horrible and unacceptable and it was a great crime and a violation of their human rights. But it was not a genocide and many historians historians who have studied Ottoman and Middle Eastern history criticize the Armenian government for their cynical attempts to shame modern day Turkey. Many patriotic Americans criticize the powerful Armenian lobby for their pathetic attempts to undermine US-Turkish relations. Why do I hear about the poor little Armenians every day in the media and in the news but there is barely a peep about the Pontic Greeks who were also massacred by the Turks? Why do the holier-than-thou Hayastanis get to use their supposed genocide as a moral justification to illegally occupy Nagorno-Karabakh?
Why are serious scholars like Bernard Lewis fined and harassed for insisting on using the word 'genocide' according to its actual definition?

Have you changed your stance, or just straddling the wall? Or is it time to pick on the Turks.Harold wrote:What happened to the Armenians was horrible and unacceptable and it was a great crime and a violation of their human rights. I love bitches n gonna fuck Texas and the USA+ right up their god damn ass! Hallelujah!
Harold, why do you have to bring other conflicts into it?
Can't the Pontics and Hayastanis take care of their own story?
If I criticise UK arms dealers in one instance, is it a valid debate point to ask me why I don't consider American dealers? Does the lack of inclusion automatically invalidate my criticism?
What kind of logic is that?
There are many people who believe it was a genocide.
There was central planning, over 500,000 (some say 1.5m plus)died and still the Turks refuse to open their archives to public scrutiny.

Kind of fits the bill.
The turks are super-sensitive about it...why? Surely if the evidence is so strongly stacked against genocide they just shouldn't care?
