I cherish the memories circa 2003 Otres , only 1 bar Bamboo Shack and a French owned place hired windsurfers etc.
Papa John's was between them. No electricity. It was soo peaceful smoking drinking for 5 years. no traffic,no beach sellers. just the sound of the waves lapping the beach. Papa John was better listening to any music if you were lucky enough to have met him. He gained great respect from the Generals on Queens hill. They were smoking dope it was sick crazy good.

Nice. I believe this was start of rainy season. Some areas we went through on the way down, we needed dirt bikes. This area in the video wasn't too bad. I remember some water pits being up over our engine blocks and having to try to make it through without stopping. Was a pretty steep rock climb we did. I lost it and banged my knee up pretty good. Was fun.YaTingPom wrote:Cool.DetroitMuscle wrote:
On the way to Kampot. Looking back, I don't think I've been anywhere more beautiful.
We did similar to that (but didn’t feel the need to video it) near Otres. Didn’t see anyone for three hours apar from barangs on two BMW GS’s with all the off road gear - belly plates, bark busters, riding gear etc.
We were all on Daelims and Honda Cubs with nobblies.

DetroitMuscle,
I should imagine you also miss living in a country where the politics is relatively stable and the country is not run by a complete lunatic?

Eh, our daily lives aren't affected by it all. Wake up at 3am, go to work, come home. Wife and I enjoy it here.spitthedog wrote:DetroitMuscle,

It is annoying at times though. Especially when you have to be around people who try to inject politics into every situation or conversation. They are the worst.

She must be a unique one. Cause most Khmer chicks once they are married they would be screaming for "I want have baby" especially when they married to a spoiled kid. And if they don't want to, they probably already had some prior.DetroitMuscle wrote:Eh, our daily lives aren't affected by it all. Wake up at 3am, go to work, come home. How do you know she isn't? You assume a lot? Wife beaters like you shouldn't throw too many stones. Glass houses and all.the chicken wrote:She must be a unique one. Kid is on the way. Unlike yours, they'll never see their mother being beaten by daddy.

Dam Detroit, it takes you 2 days to come back with this. I just watched the new episode about the 90 days fiance how this dude brought his girl to Ohio and he took her to an audition in Oklahoma. And she was like "I dont me model, I want have baby." Is that you?
You are a living legend Massive Respect to you Sir. Very few people have been where you been.jamie44 wrote:The suckers.
