Rumours are going around about a new road from PP-SHK getting the go ahead. Earlier this year surveyors were around the area I have some land, measuring things and counting the number of sugar-palm trees (which are protected in this province).
IF we get lucky and our 1/2 hectare of swamp is in the way of construction, will it be $$$, or will they try to rob us? The wife thinks because we have hard title and the PRC are on a campaign for hearts and minds, we will get mega bucks, but ever the cynic, I'm not so sure.
If they don't tarmac the field, then hopefully the value will increase from nothing up to something.

Will there be a massacre?
Anyway, at least Khmer's can't be accused of being overly nationalistic anymore. I'm starting to think they would probably sell granny's gold teeth if they managed to find a buyer.

It seems they are on schedule, the boss said it would be ready by 2019
I thought it was going to be the east of the NH4 but no one knows the actual route?
pew, pew, pew, pew!
Yes, south/east of H4.
They were sizing up land a few months ago, according to the mrs it's 90% sure to be through ours (but she does suffer from Khmery tale wishful thinking).
This ' leaked' photo was doing the rounds earlier, could be legit.

Why is the route away from the airport?
Looks like it goes straight at Srei Ambil roundabout.

(*Nota Bene: The New MacauVille area was previously known as; Koh Kong, Sihanoukville, Kep, and Kampot - before the magnificent reign of our Glorious Little Yellow Overloads)

Got a phone call from the brother what feeds our cows out in the sticks. He said a helicopter (fuck me the kids there would have thought it was Christmas) landed, some Chinese came out and started laying down marker posts. Booyah, at least 30m over the width of the land.
Now the question is twofold, a) how much they pay, and b) what to do with the couple of interned dead bodies on the plot..
