Election Rally on Friday
There will be large election rally starting on Friday morning, 27th of July 2018. This rally is to end the political campaign and will begin at Koh Pich, involving approximately 250,000 people; at Democracy Park there will be around 20,000 people and more people at political party offices across Phnom Penh.
The convoy will be moving out from these locations to many different directions, which will surely affect the traffic of most of the main streets in Phnom Penh. The following streets can be totally blocked or hard to move:
1. Kampuchea Krom Street
2. Samdech Monireth Stree
3. Sothearos Blvd
4. Mao Tse Toung Blvd
5. Preah Monivong Blvd
6. Preah Sihanouk Blvd
7. National Road 5
8. National Road 6
9. National Road 1
10. National Road 2
11. Phnom Penh Hanoi Friendship street
12. North Bridge (2004) street
13. Chom Chao area
14. Street 271
15. Street 70
16. Other main streets
The convoy will start from 6 am, and will then circle back around at some point to end in Wat Botum Park, where there will be a concert in the evening scheduled to last until about midnight -- so, I would probably stay clear of that area unless you enjoy deafening music, bumper to bumper traffic, and insanely busy crowds.

"We, the sons of John Company, have arrived"
i admit my memory is hazy, but i do remember most of those young supporters were paid for and free food.
Watch Reuters and Al Jazeera call the masses “millions” instead of “thousands” like when they described the Kem Ley promenade.

Would the turnout be more like the image on the left without the 10,000 r and free lunch?Playboy wrote:It was 10,000r plus lunch last time, for the hoi polloi, same this time as well.JimSocks wrote:are they still paying ppl to join the rallies? i remember last election they were paying official ccp members $5 and free food to go to the rallies
