A lot of things that used to be in French or English are now in Chinese. At the airport Chinese had replaced the French.
Do you think they’ll get rid of the French on the Cambodian passports and put Chinese on instead?
Cambodian passports - will they be in Chinese?

I don't think so nor anytime soon. But seeing the Chinese in complete dominance here its a good business to have a Chinese signage on your establishment and kick out the ring leader aka tour guides to eliminate them having any cut of the profit.
No. Chinese isn’t an internationally recognised or spoken language, plus there’s many different dialects, and two distinct languages.
English is.
Stupid question.

I actually noticed at the airport recently that all the displayed options at Burger King were all priced in Chinese Yuan, no $, no Reil. I asked the guy, WTF? Maybe sign of things to come, Yuan to replace $?Jitters wrote:A lot of things that used to be in French or English are now in Chinese. At the airport Chinese had replaced the French.

Lots of transactions in RM already in Cambodia.
I doubt it’ll replace it but maybe run alongside it.
Also, those signs change depending who’s coming through. Same as the shops in big airports, like Changi, the ticker prices get changed depending who the majority of the spenders are.
