Maybe the same mindset that has malls and shops stick "no photography" signs all over their place? Paranoia? Bizarre in this day and age of mobile phones.

Maybe, 50m away, at the trampoline shop, I was encouraged to take pictures.Hanno wrote:Maybe the same mindset that has malls and shops stick "no photography" signs all over their place? Paranoia? Bizarre in this day and age of mobile phones.

It is still in business. Just went there couple weeks ago. Also the discount was still valid

Edit: realised that you probably need the discount code and go through this site to get the discount. Discount seem to be only for december/january though https://cambodeals.com/en/brands/fly-phnom-penh/
It was as of a week ago. Seems to have become more expensive since the first time we went. Parking is a disaster. And there's a ten minute walk from car park to the trampoline place. And the waiting area for parents is still uncomfortable, hot and noisy. And they waste 5 or 10 minutes of the hour with some bullshit warm-up routine. Apart from that, it's great!

Thanks, let me try that discount stuff and it still works for 20% discount.rogerrabbit wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 2:05 pmIt is still in business. Just went there couple weeks ago. Also the discount was still valid

Yeah, and -since the kids don't accept less than a whole day on-site- I'll sit there from before the rain starts until it is largely dry again.slavedog wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 2:08 pmIt was as of a week ago. Just raise an approving thumb every 10-15 minutes, and they keep going......
I've been there so many times now, that I rearrange the furniture and put the big fan just below the airco and myself in front of the fan
Still, not so very comfortable, though doable.
A whole day? I raise my hat to you, sir.v12 wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 2:25 pmThanks, let me try that discount stuff and it still works for 20% discount.rogerrabbit wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 2:05 pmIt is still in business. Just went there couple weeks ago. Also the discount was still valid

There aren't that many options, the kids do get physical exercise as well as opportunities to develop their motorial skills, so yeah, let them go for a whole day. Bring a skateboard to and the oldest can practice at the skate area.
Fair enough. We have just had a bit of a change in routine and the boys now have both piano lessons and football training on Saturdays mornings, so after a bit of lunch they are pretty happy to chill at home in the afternoon (leaving me free to go to the pub!)

Geez, mate,.. One can go get a freelancer Tramp riverside for 5 bucks includes bedroom olympics.
Yeah, it ain't cheap, though obtain a day pass with discount and you are down to $14.40 (adult) or $9.60 (little kid) for a whole day. Consider this to be a good physical educational item and its worth the money. Significantly better value and value for money than all that popular Koh Pich rubbish.
Did you ever purchase Lego ? THAT costs a fortune, just to let the kid(s) get some insights into construction, etc.
Ah: What does cost a fortune at Fly Phnom Penh, is purchasing drinks there. A small bottle of water for $1 or more.
I didn't notice...... The staff is very polite and helpful, anyway.
