The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology issued a notification on weather conditions from May 6 to 12, 2019.
According to the Ministry, Cambodia continues to be in a transition period from the dry season to the rainy season. Low pressure is stretched over Cambodia, while the wind is increasing.
Moderate rains are expected in some places on Monday 6th, will cause a series of rains, which may be heavy in areas.
Thunderstorms and high winds are also forecast, so caution is advised. The average maximum temperature is from 34 to 37 degrees Celsius.
The rainy season proper is expected to arrive at the beginning of the third week of May.

It’s hotter here in Kampot than I ever remember in SIhanoukville or maybe it’s just a fooking hot year.
It’s fooking windy too which doesn’t make much difference unless you’re wet.
We will soon be complaining about the rain and flooding etc.

Faarrrrking hot here in Bangkok. And the streets chocked full of yellow shirts.
Aircon on 19 and beer opened now though and all is good.
Although Vang Vieng a few weeks ago was possibly the hottest place i've ever been. I think it might be because geographically it's in a bowl, like Kanchanaburi (the hottest province in Thailand).

yes its hot but not so hot that i dont walk around at noonish to do my shopping and perving, actually have noticed that this place is cooler than most in thai cambo at this time of year. where? not telling dont want all you dirty unwashed druggies/alkies destroying the ambience.
getting by with a fan room too which i dont do at this time of year in others places. still doing frequent cold showers
actually this time round there are more foreign retirees than i have even seen before. usual numbers of youngish tourist blow thru barang still not so many altogether. NGO crap seems to have thinned good thing that.
why noonish? the heat thins out the tuktuk annoyance and its a much better alternative than going out near f a g g o t o'clock and bearing the consequences of that faux pas. (forum auto correct strikes again.fixed)
