Tricky questions man.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Maybe you can tell Burger King that their Cambodia operation is a travesty that undermines their strong global brand.newnewnewbie wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2019 2:50 pmCurrently, I am a content strategist at Alliance Media, where I’ve collaborated with companies such as Tiffany & Co., Burger King, and Netflix.
In a nutshell, when I walk into a Burger King in Cambodia, I want it to be just like any other Burger King in the world. Starbucks can do it and does it very well indeed, why does Burger King fail so miserably?
Same story in Vietnam, by the way, is there a connection? Burger King Thailand, on the other hand, has their shit together.

Nope, no connection. The Khmers can screw things up all on their own, and can now compete regionally with others screw ups.

My apologies for causing so much confusion, with my prior prank post.
According to this article from 2014 the suppliers are mostly out of Vietnam.
I agree that taste and texture as well as level of service is a bit off here, when compared to Thailand, which in my view is more aligned with their locations elsewhere in the world.
But hey, things might have changed, and I know nothing about their current state of affairs.

Well my report is current, I had the questionable pleasure a few days ago. Shouldn't be impossible to improve things.

I was questioning the current ownership status, of which I have no knowledge.
As for quality of product, last time at Aeon, they were running without the cash register, no receipts. Never seen that before at a BK.
Some of the staff seemed clueless, others seemed quite nice.
I'm gonna have to pay them a visit again sometime soon.
And sorry for derailing the thread.
