A fast & furious start.
We could be in for a real treat.
It is a treat.
S. Africa fantastic first half.
England were very poor in the first 20 minutes.
Undisciplined England are paying the penalty, so far.
Hmm, let's see what happens in H2.
The real World Cup begins

That was a forward pass.
Nothing given to England.
Not to be ungracious - SA have been great.
But the referee has not given anything.

S. Africa worthy winners.

How the ref did not spot this beats me, but yes, the Saffers were the better team.springrain wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 5:40 pmThat was a forward pass.

Yes, the Boks were great defensively. A well deserved win.
It was a great occasion at Score Bar, as indeed were the semis. I've really enjoyed the timing of the games, 3 or 4 pm kick-offs are perfect for an afternoon session.

Good quote from the Sunday Times:
“What happened?” a journalist asked Joe Marler after he stopped on the way from the changing room to the team bus. “We lost mate, that’s what happened.”
