When you are old and experienced, the mystery has gone out of the world somewhat and you just ain't as inquisitive or curious about different cultures anymore.
I disagree with that, mate.
The mystery deepens with age, I reckon.
Well Springrain me old mucker, is all a mystery anyway isn't it?
Intellectially you and i always seem to be on the same level, but maybe the urge to search for it lessens with age?
The urge to go out to bars lessens with age. The urge to get to know people lessens with age. The urge to chase women hopefully lessens with age. The urge to know everything lessens with age.
You embrace your know nothingness do you not sir?
With age you let it come to you, rather than searching for it maybe?
What is one searching for exactly? Who am i?
I've got a day off today. Don't know what to do with meeself in this bayuuteeful but arse end of knowhere coastal town. Had a coffee earlier, so just made a cup of tea for something different.
Work is addictive.
Might visit the local pub later and sit with the old bulbous nosed red faced geezers at the bar and stare into me Guinness. The country pub has this interesting wooden gothic carving in the corner and a rough resin floor that would be hard to slip over on when drunk.
I like different you see. No way i'm going on a fucking coach tour. No way. Aggghhh!
Anyway, in the words of the great No Joke Howard....i digress.
Fuck me, i do miss sitting on the beach in the tropics sometimes....in just my shorts, T shirt and flip flops.
