I'd post this in the Banking section but at the rate this forum is going.....we will be reduced to one category soon...
Can anyone advise whether ABA has lifted its game regards online banking ? I uses to have an account years ago and to send money from Cambodia to home country ( if you were out of Cambodia ) you had to use this funny little portable digital keypad thingy with the most convoluted method.
I need to repatriate some major coin and don;t really want to use that method again.
Thanks
ABA Internet banking

You’ve a lovely way of asking for help. A request for help with a snarky comment at the start.
Regardless, I shall be the bigger man and provide an answer.
The answer is yes. That is if you have a personal account, if you have a business account then you’ll need a little digital keypad thingy. Which adds about 90 seconds to the transaction. MAJOR BALLACHE!

I think previously it was a requirement for all online banking (via the website not the app). But now personal online banking has been replaced by the app - business online banking is still via the website and needs the thingy.

I use ABA Mobile for my personal account. Quick and easy to pay in stores, household bills etc.
I use ABA Business on the web which is painfully slow. No thingy required though! To validate a payment you need to open ABA Digiguard app on your phone - the technological version of the keypad thingy.
