The online editions will continue - which is all I have used for the past number of years.

I feel bad for Mohan who has been steering this ship with innovative, well researched and thoughtful articles.
His relentless professionalism and deep integrity will be sorely missed.

The Phnom Penh Post used to be a brilliant bi-weekly round up of some pretty interesting events that were going on in the 90s, early 2000s. Then the country got stable and dull and when it went daily it started going downhill. Since the original owner sold it it has just been on a downward spiral into banality.

Provincial Cambodia through the 90's, I was genuinely excited to buy, find, or borrow each new PPPost. Cambodia Daily was only intermittently available and, at a shocking 2,000 riel or more, double the price in Phnom Penh! The Post had decent, long, in-depth articles and very often some good photos. It wasn't the Sunday New York Times, but pre-internet (at least in rural Cambodia), it made for a very enjoyable half-day read.
I'll miss what it was, if not what it became.
