In-keeping with the spirit of the thread, I don't understand the cynicism concerning Diamond Island City. They are developing at an alarming rate, and the property available, Tokyo-Inn, and Rose Garden-the houses around there are astounding. Definitely a good prospect for property investors.

later.
Prices have risen. There is a $300 closing fee for changing
ownership before the final handover of the hard title. I don't
know what sales commissions you might have paid, so I can't
figure those in to the results.
I am guessing that the 30% increase in value is about there.
So those getting the home loan will have made 100% in about
11 months. A short term real estate play that was entirely legal.
Mine was less than the 100% gain because I had more invested
as a result of not getting the loan. Maybe a 70% gain.
I am happy with the deal and look forward to living at
