ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.

There's a miserable old sod in my office who hates holidays. Instead of thinking ''woot woot, I'm getting paid for 5 hours work today and I can stay at home'' he thinks ''bollocks, I'm losing out on one hour of overtime.''vladimir wrote:Really? Gawd, the number of freakin' holidays the idiot RGC gives is ridiculous. Nice of them to give everyone so many days off, when they never work anyway. They're SO concerned about the workers. Yeah, right. Women's rights, labour, children, human rights, yep, high priorities. It's their way of giving lip service to stuff they couldn't care less about, so they can violate it every other 364 days of the year. Meanwhile, those of us who pay their salaries with our taxes lose another day of productivity.
Get back to work, slaves.
Get back to work, slaves.

I'm talking about companies who pay taxes, such as mine, whose employees tend to be productive. Or tend to be ex-employees. Or tend to be bankrupt.Sok Poupe wrote:producti...WHAT?!

Just wait until a disgruntled employee in collusion with the Ministry of Labour stitches him up, he'll be singing a different tune then.SunSan wrote:Just do it like my boss, don't follow the prakas. And he doesn't even have a bad conscience!
Offer to pay them overtime for the holiday plus give a day off in lieu and ask them to sign for the extra cash and day off?Jacked Camry wrote:Just wait until a disgruntled employee in collusion with the Ministry of Labour stitches him up, he'll be singing a different tune then.SunSan wrote:Just do it like my boss, don't follow the prakas. FYI, the law requires that if a holiday falls on a day that would normally be a non-working day, the holiday must be granted on the following working day. That is, if a holiday falls on a Sunday and you don't normally work on Sunday, then you must be given the following Monday off.
Doesn't say anything about Holidays that fall on Saturdays thoughSection 5, Article 162:
In case the public holiday coincides with a Sunday, workers will have the following day off.
Time off for holidays cannot be the reason for reducing monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly wages.
Well, I don't work Monday because of this!epidemiks wrote:ChicagoGuy wrote:keeping_it_riel wrote:Once you get to the small print, it seems that just about every public holiday this year either falls on, or the case of the biggies, straddles a weekend. Life sucks.
