Khmer wage rates
I had a potentially brilliant thought of moving to Sihanoukville about 6-8 months of the year. I run a health care staffing firm and would like to hire a staff of 2-5 Cambodians who have strong command of written English. Nearly all of our work would be done over the internet (so speeds capable of handling video chat). Based on another post it appears as though 250-400/month is the going rate for a college graduate. Can anyone tell me if these wages are reasonable, if perhaps I could hire some Aussies for slightly more who just want to live there, and what I should expect to pay for Internet in Sihanoukville (if high speeds are even available, though with a casino they must be)? I would be happy to chat with someone living there as well. Thanks

How much "they" get depends on many factors, like how qualified/ skilled/ wiley the individuals are. In the capital $300- $600 a month would be a regular wage, in the provinces quite a bit less. Many of those who are have to work abroad in Thailand/ Malaysia etc are unskilled and benefit from the higher salaries for manual laborers in those countries.CannabisTourist wrote:hello, do you know how much they get now ?
