I would disagree, it's not needed in the centre and it's not needed on the major boulevards but what about the remaining 90% of the city? Go stand out the front of your house in Toul Kork, Toul Tom Pong, Chbar Ambeuv etc and see how long you stand there until one comes along. What about if it's raining or late or a holiday? If you can make a business that cheaper and more convenient for the consumer than what they have now and increases the earning potential of the drivers, you will make money. Where Uber has succeeded is location awareness, I don't want to stand on the pavement and wait. I want my phone to ping me to tell me my ride is outside.
